Essential Question (Writing Prompt): How were the various cultures of Native Texans influenced by the region in which they lived?

Your response will be graded following these guidelines:

• Response includes at least 3 Texan tribes. (30 pts.)
• Each tribe is given its own paragraph with examples of how it used materials from the region to provide for its needs (food, clothing, tools, etc.) (30 pts.)
• Paragraphs are indented. (10 pts.)
• The first paragraph includes a thesis sentence. (10 pts.)
• Correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, and capitalization make the essay easier to read. (10 pts.)
• Essay is turned in (on paper or using Google Docs) by due date: Wednesday, October 5th (10pts.)
